Experts in Public Health, Environmentalists,  to speak as Warri South Council plans blueprint to actualize a sustainable cleaner Warri

Certified Public Health Expert, Chartered Industrial Chemist and Environmentalists, are among key professionals that would speak during a one - day Engagement, Sensitisation and Capacity Building for stakeholders being organised by Warri South Local Government Council.                                          

The stakeholder - engagement, scheduled for 10: 00 am Thursday November 14 at King George Hall, Warri South Sub-Secretariat, will be highlighted with the launch of Keep Warri Clean Initiative by the Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comrade Weyinmi Isaac Agbateyiniro.                              

Warri South Council Supervisor for Environment, Hon. Femi Okorodiden and the Head of Environment Department, Mrs. Stella Mode, explained that the critical stakeholders will explore contemporary ways of waste generation, collection, disposal and transformation/ management spaces.                        

According to them, the jaw - jaw is also aimed at facilitating technical partnerships and collaborations between government and non - governmental organisations.                    

Relevant members of Delta State Executive Council, Officials of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, the State Waste Management Board, community leaders, PSP Operators, those in the hospitality sector, market unions and security agencies, are among the critical stakeholders expected to participate in the summit.
